Specification of the position

The appointee will engage in teaching courses of Indonesian language and culture, and Southeast Asian humanities or social sciences at undergraduate level, designing teaching materials, performing research, assisting in curriculum development and administrative assignments.

Position

One, a full-time faculty position, expected to begin on 1 August 2026.

Required Qualifications

1. A Ph.D. degree specializing in Indonesian Language, Literature, Culture, or Indonesian Language Teaching
2. Ability to conduct research in relevant fields
3. Experience in teaching all levels of Indonesian language and culture, and Indonesia-related courses at undergraduate level
4. Ability to develop digital innovative teaching materials (preferred)
5. Ability to teach courses in Southeast Asian Humanities and Social Sciences in English (preferred)
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
7. Commitment to departmental services

3. PhD Dissertation PDF file.
4. A complete list of publications within the past five years (including title, publisher/journal, and date of publication). For journal articles, please indicate whether they are listed (e.g., SSCI, ESCI, A&HCI or SCOPUS).
5. A list of courses the candidate is able to teach, along with course syllabi
6. Proofs of teaching experience (such as syllabi of previously taught courses and teaching evaluations).
7. Any additional supporting documents that may strengthen the application.
