As a Family Advocate at the Lakeland Center in Rathdrum, you will play a vital role in connecting families with resources, supporting family goals, and fostering meaningful relationships that strengthen the well-being of children and communities.
In this dynamic role, you will conduct home visits to assess family strengths and needs, assist families in developing and achieving goals, and provide support during challenging situations. You will recruit and enroll families, participate in classroom activities, conduct health and developmental screenings, and connect families with community resources and services. You will facilitate parent meetings and educational opportunities, collaborate with teachers and local agencies, maintain accurate documentation, and serve as a valued member of the team.
