Required Qualifications:
- Three years' experience in fast-food production or service or any equivalent combination of fast-food experience and course work in food production, food service or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a supervisor in a fast-food environment
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated evidence of ability to: plan, coordinate, and direct multiple functions in food preparation. supervise, train, and evaluate. perform inventory control. perform basic math. maintain food safety and health standards. operate computer cash register. lift up to 40 lbs. stand for long periods of time. perform basic PC skills. follow basic dress code and hygiene standards set by University Dining. read and understand basic recipes and reports used in the food service operation. work safely with basic food service equipment such as knives, slicers, and mixers. learn and follow proper methods of sanitation. use point-of-sale equipment. use a calculator. use a scale to weigh items.
- Effective oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.

- Successful interview.
- Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in school/university food service.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
- This position is represented by a labor union and is subject to the terms and conditions of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Ability to work on campus.
- Flexible work schedule as dictated by the needs of the university.
- Dining and Conference Services staff may be required to work evenings and weekends.
- Dining and Conference Services staff, as essential employees, need to arrive at work on a timely basis even when there is a publicly announced delayed opening or closing.
Days Worked: flexible schedule including Saturdays
Hours/Shift worked: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
