Required Qualifications:

• Six months fast-food employment experience
• Demonstrated ability to:
  • learn procedures and practices for food handling, sanitation, cleanliness.
  • provide exemplary customer service to all customers.
  • use food service equipment and utensils
  • use computer cash register.
  • understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic math skills for recipe and quantity control.
• Working effectively with other employees.
• Working effectively with customers.
• Demonstrated good attendance record.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Must follow basic dress code as established by branded concepts and hygiene standards set by University Dining.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse student populations.
• May be required to work in cold storage areas.
• May be required to have a valid driver's license to drive university van, box truck or motorized skid.
• Successful interview.
• Successful completion of three background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Chick-Fil-A employment experience.

• This position is represented by a labor union and is subject to the terms and conditions of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Flexible work schedule as dictated by the needs of the university.
• Dining and Conference Services staff may be required to work evenings and weekends. Dining and Conference Services staff, as essential employees, need to arrive at work on a timely basis even when there is a publicly announced delayed opening or closing.
