Brief Introduction of WFMU

Weifang Medical University (WFMU) is Shandong full-time medical university, located in the famous World Kite Capital Weifang City of Shandong Province. It was established in 1951 and renamed to the current name in 1987.

WFMU has two campuses, Fuyan Mountain and Yu River Campus. The university covers more than 1.2 million square meters with a construction area of more than 630,000 square meters. There are 24 full-time doctoral students, more than 1,400 postgraduates, more than 13,000 undergraduates, and more than 200 international students on campus. It has Le Dao Academy, Ji Shi Academy and Confucius School. There are 13 provincial joint training bases for postgraduates and 17 affiliated hospitals. Its library holds a collection of more than 3.8 million volumes，including 2.398 million electronic books.

Approved by the Ministry of Education, WFMU is qualified to recruit international students for Clinical Medicine (English teaching). It has established friendly inter-school cooperation with colleges and research institutions among more than 20 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Korea and so on, and carried out all-round and high-level international cooperation in the medical and biomedical field.

Requirement: Master Degree and above in Medicine or related fields

Salary and Benefits for Foreign Teachers:

1. The salary standard is according to the latest regulations issued by the State Administration of foreign experts and the Ministry of Finance and other departments;
2. 1 paid holidays (winter vacation) for above 2 terms contract period, and a non paid vacation for the 1 term contract period;
3. A one-way international air ticket to your hometown will be provided for the first half of the year; and an international round-trip air ticket to your hometown will be provided for working more than 1 year (including 1 year);
4. After working one year in our school, each year teacher can enjoy 3000 yuan living allowance and 1000 yuan transportation allowance; less than one year the allowance will be half;
5. Special Medical insurance within China will provided for1 year above foreign experts (not including the accompanying family members during the work of school).
