"Full Professor (W2) in European Jewish Literary and Cultural History"

RWTH Aachen University is one of Germany’s pre-eminent Universities of Excellence and is renowned for its high-quality teaching and world-class research. We are inviting applications for the position of full professor in the area of European Jewish literary and cultural history, to be filled by September 1, 2027.

The primary focus of teaching and research activities of the professorship will be on the literary production of German-speaking Jews from the 18th century to the present day. The position requires the ability to teach and conduct research in modern German literature.
