Full Professor (W2) in German Linguistics

RWTH Aachen University is one of Germany’s pre-eminent Universities of Excellence and is renowned for its high-quality teaching and world-class research. We are inviting applications for the position of full professor in the area of German linguistics, to be filled by October 1, 2027.

The professorship represents German linguistics in teaching in its entirety across all ISK degree programs, especially those related to education. In research, a willingness to engage in interdisciplinary and international cooperation and to acquire third-party funding is expected. Commitment to academic self-administration is a prerequisite.
