Full-Time Temporary Faculty of Management
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Department of Management and Business & IT invites applications for a full-time temporary faculty position in Management. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in areas such as strategic management, international business, and global management. Courses may include MGMT 215 Legal Environment of Business, MGMT 242 Globalization of Business, MGMT 300 Doing Business Abroad, MGMT 308 Managing Across Cultures, MGMT 412 International Business, and MGMT 485 Business Policy and Strategy. The position carries a teaching load of three 4-credit courses per semester and includes student advising and service to the Department, College, and University.
EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach undergraduate courses in Management, including core and advanced courses in strategic management, international business, and global management.
- Develop and deliver course materials, assess student learning outcomes, and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain regular office hours and support student advising.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and program improvement.
- Engage in service activities that support the mission of the Department and the University.
- Incorporate experiential and applied learning approaches where appropriate.
