Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Postdoctoral Research Associate - HeRo Lab
Position Summary
The Heterogeneous Robotics Research Lab (HeRoLab) at the University of Georgia is accepting applications for a prestigious Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow position focused on swarm robotics and AI for Science, with a start date of July 1, 2026. The postdoc will work closely with Dr. Ramviyas Nattanmai Parasuraman and collaborate with Dr. Yohannes Abate.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Design and conduct research projects in the lab (70%)
- Writing research papers, reports, deliverables, software releases, and research proposals (20%)
- Regular contributions to the functioning of the lab group and mentoring students (10%)
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or related field. Publications in top-tier venues such as ICRA, IROS, RSS, AAAI, IJCAI. Preference for experimental work with robots and quantum-inspired modeling.
