Job Description:

Radiologic Technology faculty are responsible for conducting assigned formal classroom teaching consistent with curriculum design and content outcomes, academic advising of students, clinical/laboratory instruction, cooperatively develop course outlines and clinical experiences to implement the curriculum design, evaluate student performance in lecture and clinical/laboratory courses, review and analysis of program data and outcomes, student learning outcomes , and retention in accordance with the University's policies and procedures. 

Job Responsibilities:

40%- Didactic and clinical/laboratory instruction

25%- Evaluate student performance in lecture and clinical courses.  Record evaluations using mycourses and Trajecsys.  

10%- Develop, implement, and conduct assessments on program and course student learning outcomes

10%- Academic advising of students

10%- Participate in program, divisional, and University committees

5%- Participate in program, divisional, and University committees and meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree with a bachelors degree within one year of hire.

2 years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree

2 years as a Radiologic Technologist

Experience working with students

Certificates/Licenses:

Credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

Louisiana State Radiography License (LSRTBE)

Salary: $40,000.00
