Summary of Job Duties:

This position is a grant-funded position in partnership with the DCTE, UAM-CTC, Hamburg School District, and Crossett School District. This position assumes all responsibility for executing the requirements of the College and Career Coach grant, including but not limited to: (1) Coordinating all aspects of the organization of the Arkansas College Acceptance Campaign at both high schools; (2) Coordinating all aspects of the Career Exploration Camps for 8th grade students for both school districts; (3) Conducting visits with all students, including special populations, as stipulated in the grant; (4) Reporting results and information in the portals; (5) Assisting school staff with projects in accordance with the grant expectations, such as interest inventories, skills assessments, career plans, and opportunities for students, such as job shadowing, tutoring, mentoring, internships, certifications, concurrent-credit enrollment, and career guidance; (6) Attending required meetings for Career Development Facilitator (CDF), meetings required from the grant, and other professional development activities; (7) Following budgeting and financial expectations, process, and procedures; and (8) Other responsibilities as required to comply with the grant expectations.


Qualifications:

At a minimum, a bachelor's degree if required. Preference will be given to those applicants that have knowledge of secondary, as well as career and technical education. Prospective employees must meet all UAM requirements for employment, which could include, at a minimum, a drug screening, background/criminal records check, and a driving record check.
