Serve as a point of contact and resource for students
navigating academic, residential, social, and personal
challenges;
Support student transitions into Curry College and NCE programs
through orientation activities, outreach efforts, and ongoing
engagement;
Foster positive community standards and encourage student
participation in campus life and co-curricular opportunities;
Provide individualized support, coaching, and referrals to
campus resources as appropriate.
2. Program Coordination and
Operations:
- Assist with the planning, implementation, and assessment of
student programs, workshops, events, and community-building
initiatives;
- Support communication efforts with students, families,
caregivers, and campus partners;
- Maintain accurate records related to student engagement,
participation, and program outcomes;
- Assist with program logistics, scheduling, event coordination,
and administrative tasks as assigned.
3. Collaboration and Campus
Partnerships:
- Collaborate with Residence Life, Student Success, Academic
Affairs, Admissions, Career Services, Counseling Services, and
other campus departments to support student success;
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions
related to student support and retention;
- Assist with family and caregiver engagement initiatives and
program communications;
- Represent the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence at campus
events and community activities as appropriate.
4. Professional Development and
Leadership:
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to
neurodiversity, disability inclusion, student development, and
higher education best practices;
- Assist in developing educational programming focused on
executive functioning, self-advocacy, social-emotional development,
and independent living skills;
- Support peer mentors, student leaders, and program participants
through mentorship and leadership development opportunities.
Additional Functions:
- Respect and maintain confidentiality, professional protocols,
institutional policies, and individual privacy;
- Participate in evening and weekend programming as
required;
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or their
designee.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in or acceptance to a Master's degree program in
Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, Psychology, Social
Work, Special Education, Human Development, or a related
field.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Demonstrated experience working with college students,
adolescents, neurodivergent individuals, or individuals with
disabilities through educational, community, residential,
counseling, coaching, or related settings.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and
leadership skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students,
families, faculty, staff, and campus partners.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering belonging, accessibility,
inclusion, and student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in higher education, residence life,
disability services, student affairs, transition programs, or
related settings.
- Experience supporting neurodivergent students and learners with
diverse support needs.
- Experience planning programs, facilitating workshops, mentoring
students, or coordinating student engagement initiatives.
- Familiarity with student development theory, executive
functioning supports, and inclusive educational practices.
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary
teams.
Salary:
$10,000 stipend and on-campus housing
