- Proficiency in assisting the faculty program coordinator
- Bachelors or masters degree
Nature & Purpose of Position
The graduate assistant plays a crucial role in advancing the program objectives and success of the Education Leadership doctoral program. The selected candidate will support the program faculty coordinator regarding student admissions, enrollment success, advising support, special program recruitment initiatives, online and campus event support, course schedule development, curricular initiatives, and student record, and information support.
Responsibilities
- Assist the coordinator in program enrollment support
- Support program faculty in research and related service efforts
- Support program social media and promotion efforts
- Maintain professional communication in person, via email, and phone
- Support recruitment initiatives
- Support addressing potential student program inquiries
- Address enrolled student queries regarding coursework
- Support department program events
- Assist with online program support
- Engage in student record retrieval
- Prompt work attendance and availability
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required
- Some in-state travel may be required
