Graduate Teaching Assistant (2 posts) in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. T/121/26]
Duties
- Provide teaching support for taught postgraduate programme, as assigned by course instructors and the College;
- Support teaching-related administrative tasks, including but not limited to coordinating and grading students’ assignments, managing student attendance and participation records, and developing teaching materials;
- Assist in programme and co-curricular activities (e.g. admission, study tours, internships, and company visits);
- Provide assistance for events and related activities; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
The appointee may be required to work beyond normal office hours occasionally.
Requirements
Applicants should hold a Master's degree or a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Management/Social Science/Business or related disciplines. He/she should have excellent communication and computer skills. A good command of written and spoken Putonghua/Cantonese and English is essential. Ability to work independently and proactively, along with a positive attitude towards active learning. Experience in teaching support or administrative roles within the tertiary education sector is highly preferred.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
