Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Accountancy (Appointment of 12 months) [Ref. T/120/26]
Duties
- Conduct tutorial classes mainly at undergraduate (BBA) level;
- Support the teaching of Accounting courses, including developing materials and assisting in course design;
- Support faculty with grading assignments, papers, and coursework;
- Assist with program administration, such as internships, admissions, and student activities;
- Handle teaching-related administrative duties as assigned by course leaders; and
- Perform any other duties as required.
The appointee may occasionally be required to work beyond normal office hours.
Requirements
- A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team;
- Passionate about student support and caring services; and
- Proactive working attitude is required.
- Candidates with teaching experience would be an advantage.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
