The Institute of General Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Johannes Kepler University Linz serves as a bridge between clinical academic medicine and outpatient primary care.
The Chair of General Medicine opens up new perspectives for clinical practice while also providing important impetus for research and, consequently, for the ongoing development of general medicine. The Institute of General Medicine is seeking to fill the position of a General Practitioner.
Job Duties:
- Support in setting up the Institute for general medicine
- Participation in interdisciplinary, international cooperation projects in general medicine
- Independent processing of research tasks of the Institute as well as those derived from them Publication activities in the field of health sciences with a focus on general and Family medicine
- Willingness to hold lectures (exercises, internships, co-supervision of Bachelor and Master theses)
Your Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master's degree in Medicine
- Specialist in General Medicine or trainee in Family Medicine
- Experience in the extra- and intramural area of the Austrian health system
- Very good communication and teamwork skills
- Very good knowledge of German (Level C1) and English (Level B1)
- Experience in knowledge transfer
- Enthusiasm for research and teaching

- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,776.10 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
