Job Summary

Perform general landscape and grounds maintenance activities to include mowing, trimming and debris removal. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: supervisor and coworkers. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Maintain trees, shrubs, groundcovers and flower beds (planting, fertilizing, mulching, watering, pruning, etc.)

Job Duty 2 - Transport equipment and personnel via motor vehicle to and from job sites.

Job Duty 3 - Perform lawn maintenance to include mowing, line trimming, edging, aeration, fertilization, lime application, etc.

Job Duty 4 - Clear landscape and grounds of debris, trash, branches and leaves.

Job Duty 5 - Empty trash receptacles, remove ice and clean storm drains.

Job Duty 6 - Dig trenches, perform minor street and walkways repairs.

Job Duty 7 - Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience Up to one year of job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS This job requires basic knowledge of grounds maintenance processes and practices including operation of related equipment, use of radio communications equipment and operation of a motor vehicle.

Other Information

This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have any financial responsibilities. This position will be required to drive. This role is not considered a position of trust. This position does not require a purchasing card (P-Card). This position will not travel This position does not require security clearance.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:25am-2:55pm
