Head Men's Hockey Coach (Part-Time)

Position Purpose

The ACHA DII Head Men’s Hockey Coach is responsible for overseeing student-athlete development within the program while supporting the university’s athletic department through assistance with the day-to-day operations of athletic events.

Essential Job Functions

• Manages and administers all aspects of the ACHA DII program including recruiting, coaching, scheduling, budgeting, and travel.
• Supervises Assistant Coach(es) and ensures compliance with rules and policies.
• Plans and evaluates practice sessions, develops game plans, and monitors academic progress of student-athletes.
• Recruits and retains quality student-athletes.
• Oversees equipment, maintains records, and attends department meetings.

Essential Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred. Minimum four years relevant experience. Valid driver’s license required.
