Duties and Responsibilities Under general supervision, teach courses assigned. Develop curriculum and teach continuing education health classes. Subjects include but are not limited to: Medical Coding, Medical Billing, Adult Residential Care Home, Emergency Medical Services, Phlebotomy, Massage Therapy (basic & specialized), Optometry Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant, Community Dental Health Coordinator/Instructor, Pharmacy Technician, Certified Nurse Aide, Surgical Technology, and School Health Aide. Evening classes, weekend classes, and distance education classes may be assigned as part of the assignment. Ability to communicate clearly and to teach for a variety of audiences, including adult learners. Teaching assignment is as needed and dependent upon course enrollment Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Certificate and/or license, associate or bachelor's degree in the appropriate subject area, when applicable; or equivalent combination of education/training and job-related experience Knowledge, skills, ability, and expertise are required in the field.
