Health Service IT Assistant
Position Purpose
This is a one-year term position that supports the Health Service IT with the clinical and administrative systems used by health service staff. The Health Service IT Assistant supports the Health Service Systems Administrator by acting as a departmental customer service agent supporting staff needs through several large projects over the next year including inventory management, device setup, report creation, and troubleshooting issues.
Key Responsibilities
- SHS IT project management to include the correction of medical record data issues found when preparing the incoming student data to send to Dartmouth Health and the updating of the user & provider table in PNC to meet newly added license requirements. Assists with setting up billable services in the PNC Billing module and assists in the creation and establishment of a waiver process for DSGHP through PNC Billing. (50%)
- Troubleshoots and addresses issues reported by staff and campus services that affect DSHS systems. (20%)
- Manages Health Services computer inventory through the Campus CAP program. This includes ordering and configuring desktops/laptops and monitors. (20%)
- Manages user account process including the updating and creation of PNC user accounts, EDH access and Castries configuration. (10%)
