Salary range: The salary range for this position is: Assistant Rank - $330,000 - $350,000 or Associate Rank $350,000 - $380,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation plan.

Position description

HEPATOLOGIST ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE HEALTH SCIENCES OR CLINICAL X PROFESSOR - DIVISION OF GASTROENTEROLOGY AND HEPATOLOGY

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time faculty member in the Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

EXPECTATIONS

The successful applicant will be primarily dedicated to providing general hepatology care, teaching, and research. Clinical responsibilities will include providing hepatology outpatient consultations and endoscopic procedures and sharing the duties of the inpatient Hepatology/Liver Transplant Service. Educational responsibilities will include supervision of consultations and procedures by fellows, residents, and medical students as well as providing lectures to various audiences.
