Horticulturists

Perform basic gardening/horticultural tasks including weeding, planting, mulching, pruning, and fertilizing plant materials. Irrigate land and planting areas to ensure optimal growth conditions. Maintain greenhouses, assisting in cultivating seedlings and preparing them for outdoor planting. Support plant identification efforts and assist in removing toxic or invasive species under guidance. Contribute to landscape upkeep and participate in seasonal maintenance tasks, including but not limited to shoveling and snow removal. Closely adhere to industry and university best practices and safety requirements. A current driver's license may be required.

Perform advanced gardening/horticultural tasks... Requires at least 1 year of related experience. This is an Intermediate Level position

Horticulturist, III
Plan and implement landscape/horticulture maintenance programs... Requires 3+ years of related experience. This is a Skilled Level position
