Develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient
progress, and modify plans as needed.
Serve as a key resource for patients, families, nursing staff,
and other healthcare professionals within the sub-specialty
area.
Address and resolve patient and family concerns regarding
healthcare services.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including dictations
and charting.
Review and support patient paperwork requests, manage documents
requiring signature, and oversee message resolution.
Respond to patient inquiries regarding procedures, treatments,
prescriptions, referrals, therapy orders, and other medical
concerns.
Conduct patient physical examinations, obtain and document
thorough histories, and relay essential medical information to
physicians.
Demonstrate high autonomy in diagnosing and treating health
conditions while applying current research in a clinical
setting.
Identify patient-related trends and contribute to quality
improvement, administrative, and educational initiatives within the
department.
Shift
7am-7pm (7 on, 7 off), rotating schedule with the ability to be
flexible when needs arise
Minimum Qualifications
Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of
Registration for the Healing Arts.
Preferred Qualifications
Credentials: Physician Assistant: Specialty Certificate by
the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
(NCCPA) in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Emergency Medicine,
Hospital Medicine, Nephrology, Orthopaedic Surgery, or
Psychiatry.
