Houseperson - Temporary
Position Summary
This position provides support to both housekeeping and laundry staff. The House Person is responsible for removing soiled linen and trash from hotel rooms, restocking housekeeping closets with necessary supplies, amenities, and linens, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of hotel floors. Additional responsibilities include responding to guest requests in a courteous and timely manner, reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel, and keeping accurate records of tasks completed and time worked. This position may also be assigned duties in other areas maintained by the housekeeping department as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Remove dirty linens and trash from hotel rooms, housekeeping carts, and hallways (50%)
- Stock housekeeping closets with linen, amenities, and other supplies (30%)
- Assist in other areas of the hotel (10%)
- Clean carpets in the hotel and public areas (5%)
- Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings (5%)
