Job Description:

The Human Resources (HR) Compliance Specialist is one of the lead investigators for the Office of HR Compliance responsible for a high volume of faculty and staff issues such as harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment and claims of retaliation. The HR Compliance Specialist will also review/process requests for ADA reasonable accommodation and provide support with equal employment opportunity reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, English, or related field required.
• Experience and familiarity with reviewing claims of illegal and unlawful conduct, analysis of evidence and drafting investigation reports.
• Three (3) years of experience with compliance and proactive affirmative action initiatives preferred
• Three (3) years of experience conducting investigations preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with a high degree of professionalism.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Must be able to always exhibit professional behavior.
• Must be able to judge where discretion should be used and have critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor preferred
