HVAC Technician
Position Summary
Performs preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on complex refrigeration equipment supporting an intensive biotechnology/life sciences research and health care campus. Systems supported include direct expansion (DX) units, environmental chambers, walk-in coolers and freezers, air dryers, ice machines, packaged units, computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units, dehumidification systems, refrigerated scientific equipment, ultra-low and cryogenic equipment, small chillers, and hot water and steam boiler systems.
Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License or have the ability to obtain one prior to hire date. Requires EPA 608 universal refrigerant certification.
