Hire Type: Full Time
Pay: Commensurate with experience
Work Schedule: Typically Monday – Friday, between the hours of 7:30am – 5pm. Occasional work in the evening and weekend may be required based on business need. Work is performed onsite and in-person.
Export Compliance Requirement: This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”.
Job Summary
Partners with business unit leaders to develop and deliver strategic human resource solutions to achieve defined business unit goals.
Essential Functions
Builds relationships, credibility, and rapport to influence and advance business vision and initiatives. Partners with business unit leaders to identify potential barriers to goal attainment. Supports the implementation of organizational programs, communications, and initiatives. Provides guidance and support to leaders and/or employees in the administration of Human Resources policies and procedures and employee relations. May provide assistance in resolution of employee relations and unmet performance expectations. Partners with business unit leaders in the process of performance evaluation, employee engagement, workforce planning, action planning, and identification of training and development needs in order to develop a business unit culture that supports achievement of goals. Utilizes knowledge of human resources, legal, and regulatory requirements in conjunction with market best practice to ensure business unit compliance and competitiveness, and to mitigate risk. Creates solutions that support/enable teams to deliver on business objectives. Collects and analyzes HR data and develops recommendations and action plans to address identified issues.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field by hire date.
- Four (4) years of experience in human resources or related field

- Ability to assess and anticipate HR-related needs.
- Ability to work both on a team and independently to deliver results.
- Ability to multi-task and drive multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of Employee Relations Experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to move or traverse across campus, within buildings and offices, and/or across external environments.
