Institute Manager
The Institute of English Studies (IES) is one of nine member institutes of the School of Advanced Study, University of London. The IES is a unique centre for research, teaching and advocacy that speaks both for and about books, specialising in the history of the book, manuscript and print studies, textual scholarship, digital editing and new critical approaches to literary history.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Institute of English Studies including finance, stakeholder relations, resources, staffing, records and statistics management, and reporting.
The successful candidate must have experience of organising key administrative functions including finance, planning, human resources, working with committees and maintaining records as well as the ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional service staff.
