Description

The Department of Finance is seeking high-caliber candidates to fill the position of Instructional Assistant / Teaching Associate. The appointee will provide teaching support for both undergraduate and post graduate courses, including the following responsibilities:

Conducting tutorial
Assisting course instructors to design and develop teaching material
Grading assignments and coordinating students’ submission of assignment
Managing students’ attendance and providing logistical support for activities
Assisting with other teaching-related duties as assigned by the Department

Qualifications

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in finance or related disciplines. He/She should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a good command of both written and spoken English; and good computer skills. Relevant experience in tertiary institutions is preferred. He/She should be mature, attentive to details and able to work independently. Working outside normal office hours may be required.

Applicants with more years of relevant experience and a master’s degree may be considered for the Teaching Associate position.

(Duration: 1 or 2 years, renewable)
