Description

The Department of Economics is seeking high-caliber candidates to fill the position of Instructional Assistant. The appointee will provide teaching support, including the following responsibilities:

• Conducting tutorial
• Assisting course instructors to design and develop teaching material
• Grading assignments and coordinating students’ submission of assignment
• Managing students’ attendance and providing logistical support for activities
• Assisting with other teaching-related duties as assigned by the Department

Qualifications

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or master's degree in economics or related disciplines. He/She should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a good command of both written and spoken English; and good computer skills. Working outside normal office hours may be required. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
