- Strong background in mass spectrometry-based approaches
- Knowledge of FDA protocols for translational research
- Ability to establish and maintain multidisciplinary collaborations
Preferred Skills
- Experience with “big data” analysis and hypothesis-driven research
- Grant writing and research project management
- Coordination of multi-institutional collaborations
- Scientific manuscript preparation and publication
- Experience in biomarker and therapeutic target discovery
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on pediatric brain tumors
- Utilize large-scale datasets to generate and test biological hypotheses
- Develop and apply molecular tools to study tumor metabolism
- Coordinate NIH-funded research projects with local, national, and international collaborators
