Instructor of Biology
The Department of Biology invites part-time adjunct faculty appointments to teach undergraduates course(s) as needed. Potential areas of instruction include Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany, Biotechnology and Zoology.
Please note that applications will remain active one year from the posting date. Therefore, if you apply for this position, you may not hear from the Department of Biology until there is a need to hire an instructor to teach a specific course.
Adjunct faculty are limited to teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester. This position is NOT eligible for benefits.
Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Successful candidates will teach undergraduate courses as needed. Potential areas of instruction include Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany, Biotechnology and Zoology.
Duties and Responsibilities
Part-time, contract faculty member will teach undergraduate courses in the Biology department. Teaching lecture or lab sections potentially in Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany or Biotechnology and Zoology.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree in Biology or related field by date of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree or higher in Biology or related field and teaching experience at university or college level.
