The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University appoints a selection procedure for the position
Instructor of the Department of Simulation Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine MU
with shorter working hours (4 hours per week)
The Department of Simulation Medicine is an educational institution of the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University, based at the Simulation Center of the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, which is the largest and most advanced simulation center for teaching—primarily clinical medicine—in Europe. The institute guarantees and provides expert oversight for the implementation and delivery of simulation-based education, primarily at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. It delivers both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in courses incorporating elements of simulation medicine. The institute initiates and conducts scientific research in the field of simulation medicine at both national and international levels. It also organizes and provides specialized and lifelong learning courses. Furthermore, the institute guarantees the doctoral study program Simulation in Medicine / Healthcare Simulation.

The scope of your work will be:
- participation in theoretical and practical teaching at the workplace
- preparation of the study and teaching materials
- involvement in research and development activities, including the publication and presentation of research results
- share in the organizational provision of research and pedagogical activities, incl. related administration
Required qualification:
- Completed university education in the medical field (with the title MD), or equivalent education attained abroad
- Professional experience in the given field, teaching experience is an advantage
- Capability of independent professional and research work including publishing activities
- Capability to actively participate at an international conference or professional seminar
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Fluent Czech (spoken and written)
- Active approach, initiative and willingness for further education
- Moral integrity
