About the Project
This PhD research opportunity examines international business strategy across developed and emerging markets. Possible topics include multinational strategy, international expansion, localization, global competition, emerging-market firms, cross-border partnerships, institutional distance, and strategy adaptation across countries.
The project is well suited to candidates from multinational corporations, consulting, international trade, investment, entrepreneurship, NGOs, development institutions, or global professional services. Candidates may examine how organizations compete, adapt, and create value across different economic, cultural, and institutional environments.
Research may use qualitative case studies, comparative international analysis, executive interviews, quantitative data, or mixed methods. Projects involving Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, or the Americas are all welcome.
