A public selection based on qualifications and interviews is open to award no. 1 research grant in the field of “Development of QA/QC procedures for marine carbonate system observations through multi-platform comparisons for the assessment of data quality and consistency” for the Oceanography Section of the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics – OGS.
Development and implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)procedures for oceanographic data collected from autonomous and fixed observing platforms. Activities will include the analysis of spatial and temporal co-locations among different observing systems, the assessment of consistency in physical and biogeochemical observations, the identification of instrumental biases and temporal drifts. The methodologiesdeveloped will contribute to the definition of standardized QA/QC protocols aimed at improving the reliability, interoperability, and traceability of observations within marine research infrastructures
