The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System is seeking a highly qualified Thoracic Surgeon to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to serving America's Veterans.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead, develop, and grow a comprehensive thoracic surgery program in a collaborative environment that supports excellence, innovation, education, and clinical advancement.

Position Highlights

Provide full-spectrum thoracic surgical care, including:
- Advanced lung cancer care
- Robotic-assisted thoracic surgery
- Esophageal and foregut disease
- Pleural disease
- Chest wall tumors
- Pulmonary nodules
- Complex thoracic pathologies
Work within a progressive, mission-driven VA healthcare system.
Participate in teaching residents and medical students.
Engage in multidisciplinary oncology care, educational conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research.
Enjoy strong support for leadership, program development, and service expansion.

Competitive salary (Base + Market Pay)
Eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)-up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement.
