- Taking care of experimental animals, including feeding, environmental enrichment, chairing, and cleaning implants.
- Assisting with surgeries, including sterilization, cleaning of surgical equipment, and taking part in the procedures.
- Supervising animal recovery following surgeries or other procedures.
- Assisting with training human and animal subjects.
- Assisting with data collection from human and animal subjects, including running psychophysical and functional imaging experiments on humans, and psychophysical and electrophysiology experiments on animals.
- Assisting with data analysis.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 - $58,700.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. This position is based in New York and the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite as of their effective start date.
Bachelor or higher degree in Neuroscience, engineering, math, or computer science
Previous experience in scientific data analysis
