Organization Profile: The National Forensic Sciences University with the status of an Institution of National Importance is the world’s first and only University dedicated to Forensic, behavioral, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and allied Sciences. It was established by the Government of India through Act, 2020 (32 of 2020) with the objective of fulfilling the acute shortage against the increasing demand for forensic experts in the country and around the world.

Job Title:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project on: Development of nano-ceramic particle-reinforced Nickel-based superalloy matrix composites through laser additive manufacturing for aerospace applications

Qualification:

• The candidates with B.E/B. Tech/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Science/Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy, Aerospace, Laser Science/Engineering, or any equivalent/relevant allied branches from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale are eligible to apply for the JRF positions with valid GATE/ NET score. For SC/ST/PwD category, a minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on 10-point scale is required with valid GATE/NET score. Candidates possessing B.Tech./B.E or an equivalent Degree in the relevant branch from a recognized University/Institute with minimum of 80% aggregate marks (8.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale) in the qualifying degree and a valid GATE score are eligible to apply.

Fellowship Scale:

• Rs. 37,000/- p.m. + Rs 11,100/- (30% HRA) = Rs 48,100/- per month

Engagement Period: Five years from the date of commencement or till the project continues whichever is earlier
