Laboratory Technologist (Research Support)

Job Description

To support laboratory operations by performing clinical chemistry analyses, biospecimen processing, and ensuring effective management of laboratory consumables, reagents, and equipment. The role maintains high standards of quality, safety, and compliance to support research activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine clinical chemistry analyses
  • Perform blood and urine sample processing
  • Ensure proper handling, labelling, storage, and traceability of samples
  • Carry out routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting for laboratory equipment
  • Responsible for laboratory-base risk management, audits, and compliance documentation
  • Maintain a safe, clean and hygienic laboratory working environment
  • Perform other laboratory operational duties as required

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Biomedical science, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline. Candidates without experience are welcome to apply
