About the Department of Economics and Business

The Department of Economics and Business is one of three departments in NUP's School of Economics, Business, and Computer Science. We are a supportive and collegial team, with 18 full-time faculty members and several part-time faculty members.

Job Description

The Department of Economics and Business at Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) invites applicants for full-time appointments: Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Management/Entrepreneurship (all areas) and Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Applied Economics. Candidates will maintain an active research agenda (high quality publications are expected, certainly Scopus-indexed as a minimum), while teaching up to four courses per academic semester. The preferred starting date is the 1st of September 2026.

Qualifications and Experience

A demonstrated strong potential for excellence in scholarly research and teaching is required. For these positions, applicants should normally have a doctorate in Management/Entrepreneurship or in Economics. PhD candidates who are close to completion will also be considered.
