Qualification requirements

As an applicant, you are an active student in the Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology program at Uppsala University. Employment as an amanuensis is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 5. Only those who have been admitted to a degree program at the undergraduate or graduate level may be employed as an amanuensis (HF Chapter 5 §10).

To be successful in this position, you must have good communication skills, both spoken and written in Swedish and English. You should have good initiative and the ability to work independently. You should have experience in part-time laboratory work but also be able to program and analyze data. An interest in protein synthesis in bacteria is essential for the position.

About the employment 

The employment is limited in time according to HF Chapter 5 Section 12 until 2025-12-31. The scope is 20%. Access by agreement. Location: Uppsala
