Job Description

Key Duties:

  • Theoretical and practical teaching in the programs Chemistry and Chemistry and Technology of Materials for Conservation-Restoration in the Czech language.
  • Preparation of study materials.
  • Supervision of final theses.
  • Innovation of teaching.
  • Involvement in popularization activities of the Department of Chemistry.
  • Participation in the organizational support of pedagogical activities, incl. related administration.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Completed education in a doctoral study program in chemistry (PhD degree).
  • At least 5 years of experience teaching chemistry or experience teaching in the field of chemistry and technology of materials for conservation – restoration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Czech and English.
  • Previous research and publication activity welcome.
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills.
  • Responsible approach to assigned work tasks, reliability, pleasant demeanor.
  • Personal and professional prerequisites for independent pedagogical activity in the programs Chemistry and Chemistry and Technology of Materials for Conservation - Restoration and qualification growth.
