Position Overview
The Landscape Architecture Section is accepting applications for a part-time Lecturer appointment to teach one undergraduate, interdisciplinary, foundational design course in the Knowlton School during the 2026 Summer Semester. Duties include but are not limited to: curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, teaching, and course management. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities and provide support for developing and teaching undergraduate students, depending on chosen candidates degree certification.
All courses are taught in person on the Universitys main campus in Columbus, Ohio.
The Ohio State University will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Education and Experience Requirements
- MLA degree or equivalentterminal degree in the design disciplines or a related area.
- One to five years of teaching and/or industry related experience in the fields of landscape architecture or relevant areas. This can include graduate teaching assistantships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio States Shared Values.
