Design one theatre and one dance production per semester, engaging collaboratively with directors, choreographers, and student performers. Support a creative and professional environment that helps students gain hands-on experience in costume design, production workflows, and industry protocols. Attend rehearsals and production meetings as necessary, including some evenings and weekends, to ensure costumes meet the artistic and logistical needs of each production. Organize and maintain both theatre and dance costume inventories and participate in some program meetings and occasional service in support of both the theatre and dance program.

Masters in Fine Arts in Costume Design, Costume Technology, or a related field.
Minimum required level and type of experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Demonstrated experience designing costumes for both traditional theatre and concert dance, as well as for devised or collaborative performance projects.
- Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative and interdisciplinary environments.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional or university experience in Costume Design and Technology
- Prior teaching experience at the university level
- Strong background in costume and craft technology
- Experience organizing and maintaining costume inventories
- Familiarity with both devised and traditional dance and theatre performance processes
