Position Summary
The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Part-Time Lecturer to teach Introduction to Psychology at the undergraduate level. This position is designed for qualified educators who are committed to excellence in teaching and student engagement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction for an undergraduate course in psychology during the fall semester. Responsibilities include course preparation, classroom instruction, assessment of student learning, and timely communication with students. Instruction will be primarily face-to-face and based at the downtown campus.
Qualifications
- M.S./M.A. in Psychology or a Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely-related discipline.
- Previous experience teaching at least one of the following: introductory psychology, social psychology, biopsychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, cognitive psychology, experimental psychology, or statistics.
Salary Range
$4,000 per course
