The Role We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and team orientated person to join our dynamic Biomedical Science team. The successful applicant will be engaged in high quality teaching, assessment and research project supervision on undergraduate and postgraduate Biomedical Science programmes. The post holder will be expected to teach and contribute towards a range of Biomedical Science modules, including genetics and molecular pathology, blood sciences and microbiology (as well as others as required). They will provide pastoral support to students and also actively contribute to course management and development. The appointee will contribute to the School’s core activities including but not limited to student recruitment, outreach activities and development of projects to improve the student experience. Ideal Candidate You should have a degree and either have completed a PhD in a Biomedical Science discipline (as stated above) or have equivalent experience as a practicing HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with a demonstrated ability to transition to academia.
