Position Overview

Music Education Lecturer (1.0 FTE). The School of Music at The Ohio State University seeks a full-time Lecturer in General Music Education to teach undergraduate methods courses in general music education and other areas consistent with the candidates expertise; engage in leadership and mentorship for undergraduate and graduate students in music education; and supervise student teachers and early field experience.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required: Masters degree in music education with a general music education emphasis required.

Desired: PhD in music education with a general music education emphasis preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to building a culturally diverse intellectual community in line with Ohio States Shared Values (Shared Values).
