We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Lecturer in Health Sciences (Advanced & Specialist Practice) with strong academic potential to join our experienced and dedicated academic team. You will contribute to the development and delivery of educational provision within the context of our Advanced Practice Masters level programmes.

We warmly invite you to join a supportive, vibrant and committed academic community with a shared goal to deliver first class education within a strong multidisciplinary community of learning. As well as encouraging and guiding the development of our learners, you will also be provided with opportunities for self-development through active academic mentorship, team working, peer learning and a strong collegial approach to scholarly and research activity. If required, you will be supported to achieve a Masters level higher education qualification, enabling you to develop the knowledge, skills and autonomy to consolidate and extend your academic practice and to become a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. We can also provide support and guidance for those wishing to undertake doctoral level study.

The School of Health Sciences is committed to inclusive, responsive, interprofessional education and to working collaboratively with a range of external professions and organisations to achieve the strategic goals of the School, University and our regional health and social care partners. As such, we value the knowledge and experience of those with a strong clinical background.

This part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available from 5 January 2026 on an indefinite basis.
