Lecturer in Information Systems

Position Summary

The Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management (ISSCM) in the Bryan School of Business at the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) invites applications, expressions of interest, and nominations for a non-tenure track position in Information System/Information Technology/Business Analytics/Cybersecurity/Artificial Intelligence. The position will commence on August 1, 2026, at the rank of Lecturer (non-tenure track).

The full-time position is responsible for instruction and must be prepared to teach face-to-face and online courses, as needed by the Department. Teaching online courses is required, and service to the university and to the academic and/or practicing professions is also expected. This position does not carry any research expectations.

The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between the Bryan School and the business community. We expect this person to be instrumental in securing internships and job placements for our students by collaborating with businesses. Prior experience working with the business community to create career opportunities for students is a major asset for this position.

Minimum Qualifications

MBA or MS in an area related to Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, OR Artificial Intelligence from an appropriately accredited school.
Substantial, high-level professional experience. To be professionally qualified for instruction, the successful candidate will need to have maintained ongoing professional experience over the last five years.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Cyber-security, and/or Generative AI as well as evidence of industry experience, particularly in these areas, will be considered positively.
