Specific Duties and Responsibilities of the post This band 8 Lecturer role will primarily contribute to our existing Paramedic science programme and on occasions this will also include Nursing, Allied Health Professions (AHP) and Advanced Practice. This role will support the development and delivery of teaching and learning that reflects the nature of modern health care. As part of this, the postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues to expand the faculty’s simulation portfolio, ensuring innovative, evidence informed approaches are embedded across programmes to reflect authentic clinical complexity and interprofessional practice. We are seeking an experienced academic and practitioner, who can bring clinical expertise and professional insight to the academic environment. Applicants will be a registered Paramedic with the HCPC and should hold some level 7 education in a relevant subject area. Experience in teaching and a recognised Advance HE accreditation would be advantageous but not essential. The role also offers excellent academic career developmental opportunities to the successful candidate.
